Transport Manager

The Job

This is a permanent position.

Our client is looking for an international CPC qualified transport manager to join their existing work force.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation within the UK and parts of Europe. You will need to support and managing up to 90 car transporter vehicles and drivers.

You will be the point of contact for all transport licensing queries and will ensure full compliance at all times. On top of this you will liaise often with the UK Fleet Maintenance Manager to support with any breakdowns or issues with the fleet, as well as attending any RTA or incidents on the road.

The company pushes continuous development, so the successful candidate must look to assist with this and encourage continuous improvement in areas such as fuel and damage.

The role will be located between Portbury and Swindon, the location will determine on the candidate’s location.

Qualifications and Experience required

• International Managers CPC
• Good understanding of the car transporter sector
• Enthusiastic and passionate about management
• ‘Down to earth’ working style
• Flexible and hardworking, with the ability to work on your own initiative

Working hours

Working hours can vary but the typical week will be 40 hours between Monday-Friday.

Salary and package

Salary is open to negotiation depending on experience, this can be discussed at application stage.

Package will include a company car.
